Paulette Diakité-Lacroix

Through a Christian commitment shared with its members, CCIG searches for solutions to the political and socio-economic problems of our time while paying particular attention to the dignity of every human being and for the common good of all.

Former Board members

Paulette Diakité-Lacroix joined the CCIG board in 2026. She is currently the main representative of the Catholic International Education Office (OIEC) at the United Nations Office in Geneva. Prior to this role, she worked in the United Nations system for 27 years, in Africa and at the Geneva headquarters.

 While serving with distinction in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in numerous African countries and at the UNCTAD Division for Africa and Least Developed Countries, she developed expertise in organizing, servicing, and participating in inter-agency and intergovernmental high-level meetings at the Palais des Nations, as well as in interregional meetings overseas. She holds a postgraduate degree in Development Studies from the IUED, University of Geneva, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from INAGHEI, State University of Haiti. Paulette Diakité-Lacroix is married and has one child.
